Liljendal
We've had a super relaxing weekend in Liljendal and it's horrible to be back at work. I'm sooo tired. It was quite a change to be in Liljendal now than a month ago when there was still snow on the ground and I taught Stefan to ski :-P
Now it was full of flowers and nice weather so we were even in t-shirts at times when there was no cold breezes.
Let's hope the weather stays the same for VAPPU! We have no plans yet, except for the usual, the hat ceremony at Havis Amanda and picnic in the park on 1st May. But going with the flow usually turns out to be the best parties:-D
Pic from Vappu last year.
P.s. we now got my parent's fondue set cause they never use it, anyone wanna join us for a cheese fondue this weekend?:-)

Spriiiiing!
Finally we have a nice spring in helsinki, still chilly but it´s been quite sunny the last days. When we woke up on saturday we decided to go to Suomenlinna, an island outside Helsinki because it was such a nice day. Also becuase my sister was there with her class and some students from Hungary. We stopped by the white curch in helsinki before to pick up my Swedish friend who is in helsinki at the moment working for blue1.
Luckily we managed to co-ordinate the little trip with another two friends as well, one friend that is in Scotland for her exchange and were just home for about a week and her flatmate in Helsinki. Huh, that was first a little project to make everyone join and at the same time and everything but we managed:-)
This pic is taking by our photofreak friend Ninnu, half-scottish @ the moment;-)
It was Stefans first time out on Suomenlinna and he seemed to like it.
In the evening we had beers with some friends in the city but we were supertired so we didn´t stay to long. The boys were super stylish with my glowes;-)
On sunday we fixed my lovely bike
and in the evening we acctually had the first picnic of the year:-) it was yammmiiii, but freezing as soon as the sun went away.
Today has been a monday from hell. Bad news, bad managers. Tears and sadness. Nothing superdramatic but unfair enough and really sad.

Stefan is supercute. He thought he made a link on his blogg to my blogg......acctually it was to some total random girl by the same name than me:-P My blogg adress was a bit different though...now it should be the right one.
He was also super nice the other day and brought flowers home. He claims for no reason at all. <3

Weekend
We actually managed to do quite a lot of things things this weekend:-) On Friday after work we went to play pool with Cia and Nalle. I was very bad in the beginning because it's a long time since I played last. After one game I started to get the hang of it though but every second shot was still a bad miss.
On Saturday we moved some furniture around in the living room. Our home is only 40 square meters so there's not so many different ways you can put the things in...and very logical it didn't end up. The bar kitchen is now out of use because of one of the sofa's. Anyway, we didn't use it much. The good thing now is that we have no sofa in front of the window now. Which is nice for the summer I think. Easy to open the window when it gets too hot and it feels like there's more air in general in the apartment. After finishing the project of moving sofas around we went to the store and bought new curtains both to the living room and bed room. Darker ones in the bedroom so Stefan can sleep better (Finish summer nights are really light) and longer ones to the living room since the sofa is out of the way. I'm pretty happy with the curtains.
In the evening I went with friends to see the Swedish stand up comedian Jonas Gardell. He was good, really funny but he could also talk about serious things and make the audience listen to them. One of the more beautiful moments was when he sang this song called "Aldrig ska jag sluta älska dig", something like " Never will I stop loving you". the lyrics are really touching. Stefan stayed home because the show was all in Swedish but I think he knows the song by heart know 'cause I sang it all day Sunday;-) Afterwards he joined us for some beers though.
On Sunday we woke up late. It was raining and we could have stayed inside all day but we already signed up for megazone before so we joined some exchanges and tutors to go play this lazerfight game. It was fun and an adrenaline kicker. You really got into the game and even got pissed off at the people who shot you. I'm also super competitive so it made me really angry when we lost. Next time I wanna be in the winning team!:-P
After coming home and having a shower we made a chocolate fondue with fruits, candlelight, wine and some romantic music. And now we're ready for another week......maybe? *tired*

The Story in short
At this point there's probably hundreds of these stories so I'm not imagining we're original. But yes, I was the International Tutor, Stefan was the Erasmus exchange student. After a year of crazy Erasmus life and dramas on the way he decided to stay in Finland. I'm imagining I had something to do with that fact:-P
A pic of us the first weeks getting to know each other....at this point I kept forgetting he was from Spain and called him "the Mexican":-D
Today we've been together 1 year 2 months 2 weeks and 4 days. About:-) Yes, maybe I should have started this blog a year ago. However, I'll try to update also on what happened during this time...
We live in our cute home in Vallila, Helsinki now. Here's a pic from a tapas night with our friends.
