Easter-Break!

Ou how nice! I am now free for a week for Easter. We're acctually not gonna travel anywhere but just stay here and enjoy the spring weather (in case we do travel it's gonna be only for a day trips). Hopefully now I'll have time to think about some sort of schedule for the wedding and maybe try and think of more details. There is probably something we haven't thought of!

I've been trying to take no stress of the wedding by being well on time and not to take too much on ourselves. Nonetheless, I guess on some level I am somewhat stressed anyway, tonight I had nighmares of the dress being too big and some maniac chasing us with a knife. Ou jeez!

Anyhow, I've been trying to psych myself that it's ok if it doesn't turn out perfect as long as we have fun!

I can't get enough of the cute things I see on this page and I could change my idea on theme and place and basically everything everyday!
I guess it's a good sign for the future that Stefan is sensible enough to get me back on track when my ideas are a bit too wilde....



On the school part I realized I will only have two courses left next autumn and then the master thesis. I'm a bit sad that those courses does not seem to be too much environmentally related. Nothing wrong with more finance but the courses on environmental management have been so much fun and I realize that once we're done with Uppsala I will not have the change to join so much seminars and courses on these subjects. So now when I now how the system works I'm gonna try to see what I can do to either replace those courses with something else (as far as I understand they are not mandatory) or join some extra courses just because I can.

Spring feelings

I thought I liked spring but at the moment I feel like the sun is just making me more tired and I'm starting to get really tired of these bugs. It seems our bathroom is the favourite spring spider hangout and the now we've spotted 2 ticks already.

Sick day

Yesterday I had gotten some voice back but was just feeling so tired and fluish I told Stefan that give me one day in bed and tomorrow I'm healthy. Well, I'm not super healthy yet but I feel a lot better.

And the plus side of ignoring internet and the outside world for a day was that I had time to finish a Terry Pratchett book, even though I hate finishing his books as you just want them to go on forever. I really should take time to read something else than school stuff more often!

Oho!

I just realized it is 6 pm and still light outside! The joy! Spring IS coming and there is nothing the snow can do about it!

Relief

I passed the exam finally! :-) It has just taken aaages for the teacher to correct them (again!). Now I can concentrate on finnishing my current course and start Etichs and Accounting course with happy and relaxed feelings next week :-)

The lost voice

I thought it was only temporary after yesterday's party at Susanna's place that I didn't manage to speak but after talking a bit to Stefan today I give up. I can at most whisper a bit. It's more annoying than what you might think! Last time this happened was before our Kuusamo trip 2009.

I'm gonna make my third cup of warm honey-lemon water for today and hope that I will regain my voice before tuesday when we have our project presentations.

A song that makes you feel guilty.

It doesn't make me feel guilty but I guess I should feel a bit guilty because we went to her concert in Helsinki in the birdband jazzbar (does it still exist?) but we were so tired, don't remember why exactly, so we left when she took a break.

While other people watched the "Melodifestivalen" in Sweden I concentrated on writing my project for the course. Now I'm almost done and finally pretty happy with it. Just finished in time to check on twitter that Loreen won. So now we know the Swedish song:

A song I'd like to know how to play. Even if I'd never seen the movie I'd like to be able to play the theme song from Love Story. I was trying to learn it when I still played a bit of piano but I'm probably not patient enough for learning play anything.

It's been so long now since I played piano that probably this is about the only song I know how to play anymore.

Exhausted!

I think both Faro and me are exhausted after this day!

In the morning I noticed one of his eye was completly stuck with yäkky stuff so decided to take him to the vet. After we got some drops for his eye I had to go through THREE different pharmacies before we found one that had the drops he needed.

After that I drove to school for classes and asked the proffessor if Faro could please stay in her office while we were in class. She sometimes have her own dog there so I thought she wouldn't mind in an "emergency" situation. She was completely fine with it as I thought.

In the end we were only two students who showed up for the class even if we has an external proffessor! So luckily we went anyway because it would have been quite a shame for him to drive to Uppsala for nothing. Well it turned out that they proposed Faro could come to class as we were so few, so I can proudly say that my dog has sat trough a doctor marketing class! haha! He seems PRETTY tired now though!

(and yes it was a doctor class we were invited to as the real doctor students are only 2 as well, they didn't turn up though, so it was only me and Sirpa who got a private lecture)

Now I will stuff myself with a sandwhich and join Faro who has already taken a place in the bed.

I have no idea....

I am not sure that the lyrics in this song are expecially great for a funeral song but I think that it's a song that brings at least me some comfort. The guy has as least a very nice voice.

We were so unorganized when going for our visit to Finland that we forgot the camera in Sweden! Really stupid when you are going for a wedding. On top of that I also left my iphone @ my friend's as I thought that it won't be needed since there was the Swedish sim-card. But it could have worked as a camera of course, doh! So please, friends, let us have some pics later on!

Additonally I was sad not to have my camera because we got the opportunity to go to Olesja's exhibition opening on Saturday as well. How lucky it was just in the same neighbourhood as the wedding and started a couple of hours before, so it was perfect timing!

On the bus again

I decided to take the bus again to avoid driving the car too much until it is fixed.

Felt quite bad leaving Faro but he should be fine until I'm back, we were up for a walk with the sunshine. Beautiful but cold morning!

We both miss Stefan even though we both enjoyed the spare space in the bed last night. Faro was snoring like a pro!

I'm not gonna spoil this one for you so this is NOT the song we will dance to. I'd love to dance to it though but it's superduper 7 minutes long, that is waaay to much for us to be in the spotlight.

I can tell you that it is almost impossible to find a valse that is nice! I thought there would be million songs you could dance valse to but seems I was wrong. So I think we will not go for a valse. The song we have in mind seems to be 4 minutes long as well so we might have to do something about that anyway. I think around 2 min it's more than enough! 

While we were away...

....Faro has spent some time with Susanna.

I think he has enjoyed the days greatly as he got to play with other dogs, go jogging and see new places and check out the new smells. At least now he is resting on his back on the sofa.

Back in Sweden

I'm back in Sweden with a hurting trouth :-( Must have caught a flu in the chilly Helsinki. Otherwise it was a nice trip and nice to see freinds!

Not my day today though. Had a problem with the bus ticket and slipped on the ice and missed my bus stop. Now I'm finally back in Knutby, but its wierd without the dog and Stefan!

Should probably tidy up a bit before the "crocodilo" arrives back home...
