Nice Stuff
Had lunch today with lovely Olesja. Her artwork is fantastic, check out her blogg and more of her work here. This one she posted yesterday:
Spoilt Generation
Soxxy posted this YouTube video and I thought it was so spot on. A slap in the face sometimes to get back to reality wouldn't be completely out of line for some of us...

Crash Course
Apparently there is some hype going on in the star wars nerd world. Unfortunately I never saw more than 10 min of star wars, my sister was a big fan and when she watched it sometimes I used to try and follow but I had too many question and my sis was too hooked to take the time to explain. Nevertheless my interest was never that high that I would take the time to watch it properly from beginning to end.
Thank God for YouTube though, now I have it all covered.
May 4th be with you!

Rip-off
Still on the dog hair subject
When going to work this morning I noticed that in our side of the corridor in the building there's a trail of hair from the elevator to our door. A few weeks ago still it was a trail o mud.

Hairy Friend
Faro's fur is usually very easy to handle, which is good because I would be too lazy to have a dog that needs trimming and stuff. Luckily we have also managed to cut his nails by ourselves, only once I cut a bit too much and it bled a bit but no harm done.
For a certain time though every spring and autumn he loses sooo much hair and it feels hopeless to do any cleaning at home because he leaves a trail of hair only by moving and if he shakes once, well you can imagine.
So when I made the effort before Vappu and vacuum cleaned and swiped the floored I sent Stefan and Faro back outside with three dog brushes when they returned from their walk.
I think as during the rest of the year we really don't have to use them we sort of forget to brush him during these times as well. I think I've noticed a difference though since the so I'll try to keep in mind to bring them for tonight's walk.

A different Vappu
It's probably the first year that we have not gone to Havis Amanda on Vappu. I didn't miss it at all-maybe I am getting old or I have just seen it too many times already. We spent most of the time with lovely Ida who we haven't seen in ages, whenever the sun was out we were trying to catch a bit of it on our balcony:

For a short while we went to Hannas place

but we couldn't leave the coolest party-dog at home alone for long:

The next morning he decided that Ida's lap was the best place for breakfast:
And since he had been such a good dog we took him swimming at Ida's place for the first time this year. He was such a happy dog!

We also took the opportunity to train some retrieving in their backyard. Back at home Faro enjoyed just relaxing in the sofa-and even if we didn't party much the day before that was pretty much all the action for us as well the rest of the day. Sometimes you need a Sunday like this:
