This is a test

A little bit strange that the 9th-11th of April I suddenly had 50-100 visits in a day on the blog (usually I have something like 14 on average). There was not really any good explanation in the google statistic on why and how suddenly this boost. I don't really mind if I have any visits or not but it got me a bit curious, what was it that was suddenly so interesting? The mention of sweaty feet? Or spring flowers? Or perhaps the rhyme?

So what if I made a blog post containing all of those, would it generate a boost of 200 visits suddenly?

Let's see...

This morning we got snow again! Luckily it is plus degrees so I think it will melt again quite quickly. Whatever the case, together with the rain rhyme in English class we also learned this one:

"Whether the weather is fine 

or whether the weather is not

we'll whether the weather

whatever the weather

whether we like it or not."

I'm quite proud I remember this thing from primary school, and now I learned how to spell whether correctly again ;-)

Now all the spring flowers are under the snow but here's a quite bad pic I took of some "blåsippor", (hepaticas in English?) some time ago.

Hmmm, but now I suspect that it might have been Faro's funny pic that raised the visits, he is quite the entertainer in our family, with and without our help. So here are some more pics.

Rain, rain go away, come again another day is what we learned in English class.

Tussilago

Tussilago must be the cutest word in Swedish!I had to look it up, the flower is called coltsfoot in English. Coltsfoot sounds more like a sweaty foot than a flower. Anyhow, we saw the first ones for this spring today:

 

It's probably about the most exciting we've done this Easter :-P We've just taken it easy, yesterday we scrubbed the garden furniture, they still need a cover of tree-oil but we didn't dare to start today as it is supposed to rain.

This was my view on the sofa yesterday.

I guess I need a slap back to reality so I won't fall asleep in etichs course tomorrow!

Faro is a funny Dog!

Too much Sun and Fresh Air

We spent a nice morning in Uppsala with Faro and a friend and her dogs. We trained some agility in the sunny weather and afterwards when we went inside for "fika" I could have fallen asleep in her sofa. Too much sun I think :-)

She served me some yammi banana cake and tea and with me home I got to borrow Black Books DVD. So now we have something to watch with Stefan during Easter. Let's hope it's good! Stefan had read a good review just today so it was a funny coincidence that I had borrowed exactly this one :-D

We took a walk and we met a Spaniard

Quite funny that after living in Knutby since August, today we found out that another Spaniard is living just 200 meters from our yard! I think we will for sure get to know this family a bit better during our stay here, or I hope so.

I don't have any pic to share from our random meeting but here is some flowers from last week when there was still no snow. I hope we'll get them back soon when the snow has melted again!

April Fools Day

The only joke today is the weather.

Morning walk today, still snow.

10 minutes ago we got hail.

 

And now it is snowing like middle of winter.

I wanted to do some stuff in the garden during this week but I guess I'll have to think of another plan....
