Blame it on my wild heart

Thesis done, waiting for the results and my official papers and looking for jobs. But most importantly I am enjoying some time "off" from most things. I am now an aunt BTW, since yesterday.

Today's annoyance. Why are the best versions of some songs live and impossible to find anywhere but on YouTube?

Here are two I just can't get out of my head:

Stevie Nicks is improvising during make-up. The original version of this song is so lame compared to this.

Busy Busy Busy

Tomorrow we're heading for Finland! I hardly have had any time to even think about that this week so let's see how my packing will go tomorrow and how much things I will forget. Oh well!

Just to let you know; I'm doing also a project course in sustainable development this spring and my group will focus on the food waste issue. We've just started a blog and a facebook page related to that, feel free to read and like them :)

New Experiences

Our landlord unexpectly brought some wild boar meat to us yesterday that he had hunted. So today I tasted wild boar for the first time. The meat was super tender (might have had to do with the part of the meat we ate) but the taste wasn't bad either, I couldn't really decide though on my verdict on the taste side.

 

I also stumbled upon a new song from Beyonce's sister tha brought me right back to teenage years. Today, after a couple of glasses of red wine, I kind of liked it.

Thesis Desk

10 years

Time passes so quickly! Apparently it is 10 years ago in May since I graduated from Secondary School (gymnasiet). Jeez! Hopefully I will graduate again this year about the same time if I just manage to write my thesis ready before then; which I should unless big catastrophies.

I'm not nostalgic about it at all though, I'm happy I graduated and all that but I like becomming (older) and wiser, and more clever (I hope).

I always thought this song sums it up so well (John Mayer again, sorry for that! :) )
