Regards from the dogpark

Midsummer

We had a well deserved calm and relaxed Midsummer. We also saw most of Kirkkonummi, as we visited 3 different parties. Luckily not all in one day. Never myself spent much time at all in Kirkkonummi before but it was not at all bad.

Faro took a not allowed swim in the sea after some goose. He didn't catch any but was happy anyway.

Yesterday we bought me a new computer as it might be needed if I'm gonna do some serious studying in Uppsala. Since we had a little incident when first trying to pay the computer with the credit card we decided to go down to the ATM and take out cash. Never had so many 20 eur bills at once in cash.

To finish the weekend off we took Faro swimming one more time:

Personality

I tried this personality test that some other bloggers also have done (like peppe and neppe):

Shortly translated: "Idealistic (this I think goes for both me and Stefan), very few-worded thinker. Wants to serve humanity.( naah, not so much but animals and the environment yes) Likes to live up to her values. Loyal. Flexible and relaxed unless some basic value is threatened. Usually good writers. (Stefan will not like this one as he is the writer from us two. Looking at the sloppy writing in this blogg it is not true either, Perhaps if I wrote in my mother tongue and put some effort into it). Quick-thinking with a capability to see new possibilities. (I sure hope so!) Wants to understand and help others.

Karriärer som skulle kunna passa dig:

Skribenter, artister, personalvetare, socialarbetare, svensklärare, bildlärare, förskole- och dagispersonal, präster, psykologer, forskare, fritidspolitiker, redaktörer, studievägledare, journalister, religionslärare.

Work that could suit me: Writer, artist, personknower (whatever that is?), social worker, swedish teacher, art teacher, kindergarten teacher, priest, psychologist, researcher, politician (no way), journalist, study guide, teacher in religion

Not sure any of those jobs sounds super tempting. Well, we'll see what happens next in life. I'm sure we will have some interesting times ahead.

Best sausage

Btw,this is good sausage stuff.

Almost no additives and 80% meat. In the normal BBQ sausage sold here there is hardly even 50% meat! Insane. And how did I found this sausage? I acctually was looking for something better for the dog because I thought I couldn't give him sausage with flour and stuff inside. So why would we eat any less better? I can tell you at least it was filling:)

Btw no 2: if anyone is in need of renting a two room apartment in Helsinki let me know.

Sits

Somehow Stefan brought up the swedish finnish tradition of singing while having dinner with shots, called a sits. His friend really wanted to try it out so in 24 h we managed to get some guys together and organised a BBQ sits in my friend's barn.

Best place I've had a sitz in so far!

Tivoli

I don't know any kids in the right age that would be Swedish speaking but if I'd known I'd buy them this tight now.

Clara also wrote about them.

I actually don't know this magazine from before but seems a bit unfair that big magazine company get to decide what is distributed or not.

What do you do when someone throws crap your way?

I am so bad at handling situations where I feel someone is being mean or injust to me. I wish I would be able to just tell them to their faces what I think of them but instead I let the moment pass and usually later complain to Stefan or whoever are around to hear about the enormous injustice of the situation.

But why is it that the mean people always get their way?

Especially today I do not feel like taking crap. We stayed up quite late yesterday drinking red wine and singing Singstar with Stefan's friend who is visiting and I am slightly tired. It was fun though but better get to bed early today, usually everything feels better after some good sleep.

Jess!

Seems like finally things are falling into place. We should have a place to move into in Sweden now and I think we might have found THE wedding party place.

Now sleep. Stefan's friend is arriving tomorrow :-)

-we are going to Sweden for a quick visit today
- we have been enjoying the weather with some nice picnics, Faro had also a swim and some nice training yesterday with his daddy

Good sausage(80% meat):

Short Update

I've been a lazy updater the last days. Instead Cia has some nice pics from both the wedding restaurant and from today's picnic.

About the wedding place Stefan and I are not super sure, mostly because it costs a whole lot of money only to book the place. It's a cool place but if it will be rainy or windy like today it might not be so nice. Well we'll think about it.

Today's picnic was nice but cold. I didn't really dress for how windy it turned out to be in the park though. Faro also have loved to run after some birds and skateboarder's. I think skateboarders are in the top of his list on "evil things in the world".
