Jag bloggade för Naturskyddföreningen på deras konferens "Hur gör vi då?" på fredagen, och eftersom de har så mycket fint material på svenska och det var en super konferens så tänkte jag dela med mig lite här.

Faro & his new friend

Sorry, for being such a bad blogger, I just wanted to say go and check out Faro's new friend on Stefan's blog :)

The New Dog Species

We were jogging the other evening with Stefan and Faro and at one point we saw a dog in the fog. I thought that maybe it was a hunter's dog that was on the loose still. In any case it was wierd because it just stood there and all we could see was the reflex which I assumed was the dog's neckless.

Stefan went out to the field to see if it possible would have some sort of number on the neckless, and I stayed with Faro. Turns out it was a deer, with a reflex! You can see the pics on Stefan's blog, it was not shy at all apparently....Someone keeps the deer as some sort of pet? Or deers have become extra aware of traffic hazards lately....Pics in Stefan's blog.

About the book in the last post

Don't bother reading it until the sequel's out!

I have to now wait a year or so.....crap. Back to schoolwork until then I guess..so typical that I for ones took on another book than a schoolbook and it didnät even have a proper ending yet.

Happy late Halloween/All Saints Day

Yey! Half-time thesis version is sent in and I can slack a little until the next school project deadline approaches. We celebrated by going to meet our friend Linnea and her dogs yesterday and having a pancake brunch this morning! I haven't had the time to cook anything extra almost the whole autumn so it was about time!

Not autumn for everyone yet

I moved the geraniums away from the living room as I tought that they had stopped blooming for the year but they decided the opposite. We had the first frost tonight though so let's see if it will affect them.

Vet visit

Faro has a little eye in fection so we've been to the vet today and got some eye drops. Hopefully it will be over soon! The vet remembered Faro, I wonder if it's because last time we were there Faro thought I brought him there so he could play the pushing game with the vet.

 I was playing the I-think-I'm-so-cool-game this time.

Luckily my better half comes homes tomorrow

For three days I've now lived on juice, grilled sandwiches, pancakes, smoothies,pasta with egg and dark chocolate. Because I can't be bothered/I forget/don't prioritise cooking when it's only for myself. But yes I could eat some real food soon...

What is worst-wet dog or dirty dog?

Had a shower and realised just after that the dog needed one as well after chasing birds on the field. So I put my rain boots on and took on the quest. Faro hates showering, even if he loves swimming. But what he does like is shaking himself after the shower rubbing himself on towels and you and anything dry he can find really. So now our home is wet, our dog is dryish (still a bit dirty) I'm wet as well and hairy and probably smell wet dog and I need to get going. I wonder if this is his evil revenge for having to go to the shower in the first place...who can stay ma at him though?

On Our Way!

After a litlle bit of stress we are finally on the boat to Finland. Faro fell asleep like a stone as soon as we reached the cabin. I guess both train and Stockholmers all day have taken his energy. I myself have been stuck in the Finnish embassy to get a new passport in my new name and juuust made it is time to the boat. Phew!!!!

Another day at the agility field, today I'm even more tired than yesterday and we didn't even compete! Instead we have been carrying the agility obstacles around though and moving tables and stuff and helping out in general. pheew, I could go to bed but the assignment is still waiting....

It was preeetty muddy,(it's been raining all night) I think we lost some chihuahuas in some places were you sank 30 cm down.

Apparently I haven't been focused enough to spell Birthday correct in my last post! Ou well!

I'm dead tired, we've spent the day at the agility field, we competed twice with Faro. First time was a disaaaster but the second time was already much better and he only jumped one jump from the wrong side (which disqualified us though) but we're aaaalmost there. Our goal for now is to just make it trough ones without getting disqualified. And it was our first official competition so we're just beginners!

Now back to school assignments and thesis!
